Tips for acne-prone consumers: Avoid scratching, squeezing or picking your blemished skin. Avoid rubbing your face excessively after washing and pat dry. Do not use harsh soaps or chemicals to cleanse. Avoid using oily moisturizers or make-up. Keep yourself healthy - eat healthy balanced meals, drink plenty of water and exercise regularly. Studies indicate that certain dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips- may trigger acne.
