Anhydrous Extra Pure Australian Golden Lanolin USP and EP Pure Lanolin is ideal for use as a protective barrier and rejuvenating balm for skin damaged by extreme climates, detergents, gardening, outdoor activities, and other tasks. It's perfect for protecting and nourishing dry cuticles, elbows, cracked skin, dry lips, dry nostrils, split heels, tender skin, and for healing scar tissue. It's widely used by mothers during nursing to prevent diaper rash, and has also proven effective for diabetic feet and heat rash. Our anhydrous lanolin is harvested from contented sheep that graze in pesticide-free fields, then purified and imported to the U.S. If you're comparing products, please ensure that you're comparing ones of similar purity, as purification to the highest grade is the most expensive step in the process. Our product is compliant with both the U.S. Pharmacopoeia (USP) and the more stringent European Pharmacopoeia (EP).
Pure lanolin is a wax that melts at 98°F (body temperature). If it feels too hard to use, employ a hair dryer on low to soften it. It might melt during transit in hot weather, but this melting does not affect the product's integrity. During the summer months, we recommend refrigerating it for 30 minutes before opening.
