Merino Skincare

In 1980, Dr. Chris Martin, a pharmacist from Whangamata, New Zealand, decided to address his customers' complaints about the difficulty of finding a good moisturizing cream. He recalled his mother telling him about the benefits of lanolin for the skin, so he decided to create his own lanolin cream. Since he was using lanolin derived from New Zealand Merino sheep, he named his line Merino Skincare. More than 40 years later, the Merino Skincare brand has grown into a globally recognized standard for healing and moisturizing lanolin creams.
